Damascus Steel Germanic Finger Knife
A fine miniature Finger Knife in the style of the Germanic Iron Age, masterfully made of real Damascus steel with 256 layers.
The term finger knife is explained by the fact that to handle this miniature knife you just put your index finger through the handle instead of gripping the whole knife handle with your hand - so it can be used for delicate work.
The forging process for this Damascus Steel blade is created with two different types of steel.
On the one hand AISI 4340 is used; which is a hard quenched and tempered steel with a low carbon content; plus nickel and chromium. It also contains molybdenum and is extremely tough.
On the other hand, 15N20 steel is used, which is a nickel-containing steel with excellent properties and which, when used in Damascus steel, creates beautiful light areas and elegant contrasts. If both types of steel are forged together into one knife, the result is that expressive Damascus steel full of character.
This Damascus Steel Germanic finger knife is sharpened and comes with a leather sheath and leather cord . The hardness of the knife is 58 to 60 HCR Rockwell.
With the adjustable leather strap you can carry the finger knife securely in the sheath around your neck and have it at hand at all times.
