The deity associated with this festival in Europe is known as Eostre or Ostara; the maiden goddess of fertility, the dancing white maiden wreathed in flowers. She is the joy and vigour of youth, the awakened earth, the warm dats of showers and sunshine; the spring dance of the hares and the return of the birds. All hail the maiden as she washes away the cold nights of winter and heralds the warm, welcoming days of Spring.
 
This is a hand stitched Organic Cotton Banner which has been hung from Oak, Sycamore and Hazel rods; sensitively sourced from local West Cork woods.
 
Bound with Witches Ladders twined from hemp and organic cotton; featuring hand made Ceramic Weights by Wyn Abbot Ceramics of a Goddess Symbol, Celtic Spiral, Triskelion and a piece of Green Quartz Crystal.
